The Red Rooster Diner, located on NYS Route 812 in Croghan, New York, is the only sit-down, family diner in the area.

The diner sits on the banks of the Beaver River and offers a cozy dining environment with the choice of eating in the diner, on the raised porch overlooking the river, or at picnic tables on the riverbank.

The diner, opened in 2023, previously operated as Josh's Riverside Restaurant, is owned by Gary and Heather. The kitchen portion of the diner is the original business which began as a car wash and transformed into an ice cream shop around 1972 by Norman and Mary Schultz; soon after they introduced hamburgers and hotdogs. Around 1974, a new building was built around the original building to add a dining room and bathrooms, and the business was renamed "Schultz's Fastidious Foods", and they offered a counter service fast food style restaurant. In 2016 the restaurant changed ownership and was renamed "Josh's Riverside Restaurant" and came under its current ownership in 2023 and was renamed "the Red Rooter Diner".
